InterVacTechnology at the Narva Business Conference 2026

21.10.2026. On 6 October, InterVacTechnology took part in the Narva Business Conference 2026, the central event of Narva Entrepreneurship Week organised by the City of Narva. Under the theme “Opportunities for change in a border city”, entrepreneurs, experts and public-sector representatives discussed how companies in Narva and Ida-Virumaa can stay competitive and grow. The main topics were access to engineers and technical specialists, investment in new technologies and AI tools, infrastructure for industry, and attracting young professionals to the region.

Our Executive Director Irina Korotkova presented InterVacTechnology in the “Success stories of Narva entrepreneurs” session. She described how the plant, founded in Narva in 2011, grew from producing one million tubes every six months to around 25 million Lind-Vac vacuum blood collection tubes a year. Today a team of 20 local specialists runs the highly automated production, and the products are exported across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. She also outlined what the company offers partners. This includes OEM and private-label manufacturing of medical consumables, contract manufacturing of plastic items and developing PRP (platelet-rich plasma) tubes for aesthetic medicine, orthopaedics, sports medicine and dentistry, with support from an EIS grant. Our cooperation with the University of Tartu, and the training of new staff with Töötukassa and local vocational students, showed one practical answer to the workforce challenge raised in many conference discussions.

Narva Mayor Jaan Toots personally thanked the InterVacTechnology team for its work and confirmed that the city will continue to support the plant’s development. For us, the conference was a useful chance to talk with local business and public-sector partners about new projects. We look forward to turning these contacts into new cooperation in Narva and beyond
